Eduardo Espinal was playing with his younger brother and cousin in San Rafael, Honduras when a landmine exploded. 13 year old Eduardo was the only survivor and lost both of his legs. His family was working on a coffee farm but moved after the accident because they were afraid of more mine. A year ago Eduardo opened a small pulperia to help support his family. His biggest challenge is keeping the store supplied because it is difficult for him to buy supplies in small amounts, and he spends a lot of money traveling back and forth to Choluteca to continually restock. He would like a grant so he can buy several months of supplies at one time.
