Lorenzo Alfredo Flores Ferrufino was 30 when he lost his leg to a landmine. Lorenzo was walking to work picking coffee in El Paraíso, Honduras when a mine exploded throwing him in the air and severly damaging his right leg. Lorenzo still lives in El Paraíso with his wife and 6 children. He works in the open air market in his village. Lorenzo would like a grant to begin a pulperia (small general store). This would keep him closer to his children and also bring in more money for the family.
